• Undergraduate students are those individuals who are currently completing a degree at Colorado State University. Undergraduate students must submit a separate application for admission than that used for admission to the University. Undergraduate students may enroll in Phase I education courses without being formally admitted, however, some application materials are required when enrolled in Phase I education courses.

• Post bachelor students are classified as having completed a degree at CSU or at another accredited college/university. Post bachelor students submit an application for admission to the University through the Educator Licensing Program as well as additional application materials for consideration of admission to the Licensure Program. Post bachelor students may enroll in Phase I education courses by submitting a portion of the application and having a 2.75 GPA, except for social studies where the GPA must be 3.0 for all candidates. Additional admission requirements apply to receive formal admission.

• Students wishing to be considered for admission to the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program must submit an ECE application. The ECE application materials and deadlines are different than those for the undergraduate and post bachelor programs referenced above. Note also that admission to the ECE program is required before enrollment in Phase I education courses is granted.
• Applications for the Early Childhood Education Program are considered in the spring only for a fall admission. The DUE DATE for ECE applications will be in February 5, 2010.
